DZine MediaRSS Grabber

Creating an independent news ticker with multimedia coming from an XML source/RSS feed is easy by using the XML plugin developed by dZine. The XML plugin tool keeps your dynamic content up-to-date. The XML plugin is able to extract data from local and/or remote (internet) XML sources. A typical example of a remote XML source are RSS feeds.
An RSS feed is used to publish frequently updated digital content such as blogs news/weather feeds or podcasts.

Today three versions of RSS feeds are supported; RSS 1.0 RSS 2.0 and Media RSS all having the same goal.

The media version is recommended if links to mp3 files photos or films are required. The XML plugin is easily expandable to support new RSS versions.

Dynamic content downloaded from the internet can be updated according to a user-configured refresh rate: from every second to a few days.
